Number of Hours per Rotation: Per 12 weeks:

• 36 shifts of 11.78 hours
• 3 shifts of 8 hours

Hours of work: Standard Hours

Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band 12 $23.170 to $24.840 (3 step range)

Job Description: Provides personal care and activities of daily living for clients/patients/residents to encourage optimum level of functioning.

Supports clients/patients/residents in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs.

• Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA)

• Organizational skills
• Communication skills
• Basic - Computer skills
• Interpersonal skills

Knowledge and Abilities

• Ability to work independently

• If no qualified applicants unqualified applicants may be considered
• Subject to LOU #10 of SAHO/SGEU Collective Bargaining Agreement
• Food Safe certificate, where required
• Valid driver's license, where required
