  • Prepare read-ahead reports, scoring inputs, and decision-support materials for prioritization boards; publish minutes within two business days.
  • Maintain historical decisions, dependencies, and rationale in a repository; issue monthly portfolio health summaries highlighting bottlenecks, gaps, dependencies, and trends.

Scheduling, analytics, and acquisition

  • Build and maintain an enterprise IMS in MS Project aligned to an approved WBS; integrate stakeholder schedules and conduct monthly critical-path and schedule-risk assessments.
  • Deliver monthly IMS update packages with variance narratives and trend charts; maintain performance dashboards, quarterly health metrics, and a risk, issue, and opportunity register.
  • Identify cost savings and avoidance through portfolio rationalization.
  • Research technical tools and equipment, assess readiness and lead times, refine purchase descriptions, recommend acquisition strategies, and draft justification documents.

Change and communication

  • Synthesize complex information into timely, decision-quality analysis for senior leadership.

Required qualifications

  • Specialized experience leading large, complex projects for government customers.
  • Hands-on experience developing and managing schedules in MS Project; knowledge and experience with Earned Value Management and project controls.
  • Experience managing the full change lifecycle and program management across requirements and capability development, acquisition, procurement, and resource management.
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive reports that inform senior-level decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, master's degree and 6+ years, or PhD and 3+ years.
  • Active Secret clearance required; must be TS/SCI eligible.

Preferred skills

  • PMP, EVM, or similar project controls certification; PPBE cycle experience; dashboard-building experience in Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel; or support for requirements prioritization or investment review boards.

Work location and schedule
