Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Content Writer cum Marketing Coordinator.
The role involves planning, writing, and editing content for the college’s website, email campaigns, and marketing materials, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand voice.
The person in this role will coordinate marketing initiatives, support the execution of digital campaigns, and collaborate with academic and administrative teams to gather information and translate it into compelling stories.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting research on programs and industry trends, producing content for student recruitment and brand awareness, managing content calendars, and proofreading materials for accuracy and clarity.
The role also includes monitoring content performance, suggesting improvements based on data, and contributing to social media and other outreach activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong Web Content Writing and Writing skills to create clear, engaging, and audience-focused content for digital channels.
- Ability to develop and execute Content Strategy, including content planning, messaging alignment, and calendar management.
- Research skills to gather and synthesize information from faculty, students, and industry sources into accurate and compelling narratives.
- Proofreading and basic editing skills to ensure grammatical accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Experience or interest in digital marketing, including email campaigns, social media coordination, and basic analytics, is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote environment.
- Comfort working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and communicating clearly in a professional, inclusive manner.
