Content & Email Marketing Intern

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Assist with writing, editing, and publishing blog posts.
• Conduct content and keyword research for SEO-focused blog topics.
• Create and format email newsletters using Klaviyo.
• Repurpose blog and brand content into Pinterest content to drive website traffic.
• Create simple visual assets using Canva.
• Upload and format website content in Shopify, including images, links, and product references.
• Maintain a weekly content calendar across blog, email, and Pinterest.
• Research beauty, hair, e-commerce, and digital content trends.
• Contribute ideas aligned with the brand identity and target audience.
• Review email engagement, website traffic, and Pinterest performance.
• Maintain visual and editorial consistency across digital channels.

Requirements

• Interest in beauty, fashion, e-commerce, content marketing, or digital marketing.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and visual presentation.
• Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools.
• Comfort learning and working with digital marketing and e-commerce platforms.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and contribute creative ideas.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or another email marketing platform.
• Experience with Shopify or another e-commerce platform.
• Basic understanding of SEO and keyword research.
• Experience creating content for Pinterest.
• Experience writing blog or editorial content.
• Basic knowledge of Google Analytics or Google Search Console.
• Interest in beauty, hair extensions, or the hair industry.

Internship Structure

• The internship is a three-month contract.
• The expected schedule is 10 to 15 hours per week.
• The schedule is flexible based on agreed deadlines and the content calendar.

Work Location

• The position is fully remote.
