Secret Media Middle East is a fast-growing lifestyle and media company focused on storytelling across hospitality, culture, events, and city experiences. As we continue to expand and grow our content and media presence across the region, we are looking to hire a talented Content Creator and Video Editor to join our team and grow with the company.

Role Overview

This role is for a Content Creator who is highly skilled in videography, photography, and video editing. The role requires someone who can shoot using professional cameras and mobile devices, and edit high-quality videos with fast turnaround times. The candidate must be creative, efficient, and capable of producing cinematic-quality content for digital and social media platforms. This is a hands-on role involving events, interviews, features, and social media content production.

Key Responsibilities

Attend shoots and events to capture photo and video content that is relevant, timely, and engaging.

Edit video content, including first cuts, captions, music, basic colour correction, and sound adjustments, while ensuring brand consistency.

Monitor events, trends, and happenings in Abu Dhabi to capture and publish timely content.

Work closely with the editorial team to provide high-quality photos for articles and digital content.

Replace stock images on the website with original photography and upload images with correct sizing, titles, alt text, and basic SEO optimisation.

Manage and organise the website image library and visual content archive.

Provide input on cover images and thumbnails to improve click-through rates and content performance.

Analyse content performance and engagement, and adapt content approach accordingly.

Contribute creative ideas for video concepts, content structure, hooks, and storytelling formats.

Support interviews and on location shoots by capturing video footage and behind-the-scenes content.

Present on camera when required for video content and social media features.

Handle the full content process from filming to editing to exporting in correct formats for different platforms.

Technical Skills Required

Ability to shoot using professional cameras and manual settings.

Ability to shoot high quality content using mobile devices.

Strong video editing skills using professional editing software.

Basic color correction and audio editing knowledge.

Understanding of lighting, framing, and composition.

Ability to export and format videos for Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and website platforms.

Work Environment and Expectations

This is a fast paced media environment. The candidate must be able to deliver content quickly without compromising quality. The candidate must be proactive, responsible, and able to work independently as well as with the editorial and production team. Professionalism and a smart dress code are required when attending events and representing the company. The candidate should continuously work on improving skills, learning new tools, and staying updated with content trends.

Location Requirement

This position is based in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate must be willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi and reside in Abu Dhabi after accepting the offer. This is a mandatory requirement.

Visa and Benefits

The company will provide UAE employment visa and medical insurance for the selected candidate if required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in content creation, photography, videography, and video editing.

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.

Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital content formats.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.

Good communication and organisational skills.

Strong storytelling ability and creative thinking.

English is required. Arabic is an advantage.
