How You’ll Contribute
As a Director in our Managed Services team, you’ll lead the go-to-market agenda for technology-led managed services across the Digital team.
You’ll shape and activate a focused sales strategy, identify priority sectors, clients and propositions, and build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal leaders to originate, shape and close complex managed services opportunities.
This role is designed around a 60/30/10 split across the managed services lifecycle: approximately 60% focused on opportunity identification, solution shaping and pursuit leadership; 30% on implementation, mobilisation and transition into service; and 10% on supporting stable operations, governance and continuous improvement. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring solutions are not only commercially compelling, but also scalable, technology-enabled and designed to deliver measurable client outcomes over time.
You’ll work closely with solution architects, delivery leaders and sector teams to develop differentiated managed service propositions that combine technology, data, automation and AI with strong operational delivery.
This includes shaping the managed service blueprint, defining the operating model, supporting commercials and deal structuring, and ensuring a clear path from design through mobilisation into operate.
We are looking for someone who can bring together market insight, technology fluency and commercial leadership.
As part of the Digital team, this role needs to be strongly tech-focused—able to lead client conversations on platform-led services, application evolution, cloud, data and AI-enabled operations, service management and technology-enabled transformation.
You should be comfortable positioning managed services not as traditional outsourcing, but as a tech-enabled, outcome-driven model that helps clients run smarter, scale faster and transform with confidence.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Define and drive the go-to-market strategy for Digital Managed Services, including priority sectors, target accounts, propositions and pipeline build plans.
- Lead origination of complex managed services opportunities by engaging C-suite and senior technology buyers, understanding their operational and transformation challenges, and shaping outcome-led propositions.
- Translate client needs into scalable, tech-enabled managed service solutions, working with solutioning and delivery teams to define the operating model, service scope, governance, SLAs, commercials and transition approach.
- Champion technology as a differentiator in every pursuit, embedding platforms, automation, AI, analytics and service management capabilities into solutions wherever they create stronger client value and delivery efficiency.
- Support the end-to-end pursuit lifecycle from qualification through proposal, deal shaping, negotiation and close, bringing rigour to pricing, risk, value articulation and win strategy.
- Partner with delivery and operate teams during mobilisation and transition to ensure solutions are implementable, well-governed and set up for successful long-term service performance.
- Contribute to the ongoing success of live engagements by maintaining executive client relationships, identifying expansion opportunities, and feeding operational insight back into future proposition development.
- Work across sectors and capabilities to bring together broader PwC propositions, digital assets, alliances and specialist expertise into integrated managed services offers.
- Build market presence and credibility for the Digital Managed Services proposition through thought leadership, client discussions, strategic campaigns and internal enablement.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across existing engagements and client portfolios, helping convert advisory and transformation work into longer-term managed services relationships.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; Master’s preferred
- 12 years of experience in outsourcing or managed services sales with at least 5 of those being in the Technology sector
- Proven ability in origination and end‐to‐end pursuit of large complex managed services opportunities.
- Highly collaborative approach and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong technology services domain knowledge to lead conversations and create thought leadership
- Proven experience delivering commercial and business performance results at pace.
- Strong executive level communication skills to convey ideas clearly, influence stakeholders, and collaborate across teams.
- Critical thinking and adaptability to solve complex problems and navigate evolving technologies and environments.
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively across functions and foster inclusive team dynamics.
- Excellent command of English; Arabic is highly desired for regional collaboration.
