Position Overview
We are seeking an internationally experienced
Consultant Transplant Surgeon
to join a leading transplant and hepatobiliary surgical program within a major premium healthcare group in the UAE.
This is a senior-level opportunity suited to surgeons with established expertise in
liver transplantation, kidney transplantation, and complex HPB surgery
within tertiary or quaternary transplant centres.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform:
- Liver transplantation procedures
- Kidney transplantation surgeries
- HPB surgical interventions
- Manage:
- Complex perioperative transplant care
- High-acuity surgical patients
- Participate in:
- Organ transplant evaluations
- Multidisciplinary transplant planning and management
Subspecialty Interests
- Strong preference for expertise in:
- Liver transplantation
- Kidney transplantation
- Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary surgery
- Complex transplant program development
Service Structure
- High-acuity tertiary/quaternary surgical environment
- Multidisciplinary transplant teams including:
- Hepatology
- Nephrology
- ICU and oncology services
- Access to advanced surgical and perioperative infrastructure
Additional Responsibilities
- Lead transplant program initiatives and development
- Mentor junior surgeons and surgical teams
- Participate in academic, teaching, and research activities
- Contribute to governance and quality standards within transplant services
