About The Role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its sports injury, performance medicine

and multidisciplinary rehabilitation and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Sports Medicine Physician to join its

growing clinical team.

The role is designed for internationally trained clinicians seeking career advancement, strong

clinical exposure, and the ability to practice within a modern, quality-driven healthcare environment serving a diverse

international patient population.

This opportunity is suitable for candidates who can combine advanced clinical

expertise with patient-centred communication, multidisciplinary teamwork, and commitment to international

healthcare standards.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by

experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage acute and chronic sports injuries, overuse syndromes and exercise-related medical
  • conditions.
  • Design return-to-play plans with physiotherapy, strength conditioning and rehabilitation teams
  • Perform musculoskeletal ultrasound assessment and guided injections according to scope and privileges
  • Provide medical support for athletes, teams, fitness clients and active populations
  • Advise on injury prevention, performance optimisation, nutrition coordination and safe training loads
  • Maintain outcome tracking, consent, documentation and sports medicine governance standards

Requirements

  • Applications are welcome from internationally trained consultant sports medicine physician candidates holding
  • recognised qualifications such as:
  • American Board certification with Sports Medicine fellowship

• UK SEM CCT And FFSEM

  • European / national sports medicine specialist recognition

• Royal College Certification (Canada)

  • Australian FACSEP or equivalent
  • Arab Board or recognised sports medicine qualification
  • MD / DNB / FCPS or equivalent specialist qualification
