• **Position:** Consultant / Specialist Pediatrician
• **Location:** Dubai, United Arab Emirates
• **Healthcare Setting:** Multispecialty hospital pediatric department

• **Practice Model:** Outpatient and inpatient pediatric care with access to neonatal and specialist support
• The successful candidate will provide **comprehensive pediatric medical care**, focusing on child health, disease prevention, growth monitoring, and management of acute and chronic childhood illnesses. **Key Responsibilities – Pediatrics**
• Provide **comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and adolescents**, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pediatric conditions
• Conduct **routine pediatric examinations, growth monitoring, and developmental assessments**
• Manage **common pediatric illnesses**, including respiratory infections, gastrointestinal conditions, allergies, and childhood infections
• Deliver **preventive healthcare services**, including vaccination programs and health education for parents and caregivers
• Diagnose and manage **pediatric emergencies and acute illnesses** requiring immediate medical attention
• Monitor **growth, nutritional status, and developmental milestones** to ensure healthy child development
• Provide guidance on **child nutrition, behavioural health, and developmental concerns**
• Coordinate care with **pediatric subspecialists, neonatologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams** when advanced care is required
• Maintain **accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records** in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations
• Participate in **clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and pediatric health initiatives**
• Ensure adherence to **evidence-based pediatric care protocols and patient safety standards**

Eligibility & Board Recognition

• **American Board of Pediatrics**
• **UK CCT / MRCPCH / FRCPCH**
• **European Board Certification**

• Or **equivalent recognised specialist qualification**
