• **Position:** Consultant / Specialist Neurologist
• **Location:** Dubai, United Arab Emirates
• **Healthcare Setting:** Multispecialty tertiary-care hospital with neuroscience services
• **Experience Required:** Minimum **3+ years post specialist or board certification**
• **Practice Model:** Outpatient neurology clinics, inpatient consultations, and neurodiagnostic services
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the **diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of neurological disorders**, ensuring high quality care and optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities – Neurology

• Diagnose and manage **neurological disorders**, including stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and neuropathies
• Provide acute management of **neurological emergencies**, including stroke and seizure disorders
• Conduct detailed **neurological examinations and clinical assessments**
• Interpret and utilise **neurodiagnostic tests**, including EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and neuroimaging
• Develop **individualised treatment plans** for patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions
• Manage **headaches, movement disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and neuromuscular conditions**
• Collaborate with **neurosurgeons, intensivists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation teams** for comprehensive patient care
• Participate in **stroke programs and multidisciplinary case discussions**
• Provide **patient education and counselling** regarding neurological conditions and long-term care
• Maintain **accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records** in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations
• Participate in **clinical audits, research activities, and quality improvement initiatives**
• Ensure adherence to **international neurology guidelines and patient safety standards**

Qualifications & Board Recognition

• **American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology (Neurology)**
• **UK CCT / MRCP / FRCP with Neurology training**
• **Royal College Certification (Canada)**
• **Australian Fellowship (FRACP – Neurology)**
• **Arab Board in Neurology**
• **DM / DNB / FCPS Neurology** or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
• Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for **DHA / DOH / MOH licensing**.
