Consultant / Specialist Internal Medicine Physician - Board Certified Physician

Overview

• Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

• Healthcare Setting: Multispecialty hospital – Internal Medicine Department
• Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years post specialist or board certification
• Practice Model: Outpatient and inpatient adult care with access to ICU and subspecialty support
• The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care for adult patients, focusing on disease prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• – Internal Medicine* Provide comprehensive medical care for adult patients, including diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases
• Conduct detailed medical evaluations, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments
• Manage common and complex conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory disorders, and infectious diseases
• Deliver preventive healthcare services, including health screenings, lifestyle counselling, and risk factor management
• Diagnose and manage acute medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate inpatient care
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Monitor patient progress, adjust therapies, and ensure continuity of care
• Provide patient education on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications
• Coordinate care with subspecialists such as cardiologists, endocrinologists, nephrologists, and pulmonologists
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and internal medicine programs
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based clinical protocols and patient safety standards

Eligibility & Board Recognition

• Applications are welcome from physicians holding recognised Internal Medicine specialist qualifications such as:
• American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)

• Royal College Certification (Canada)

• Australian Fellowship (FRACP – Internal Medicine)
• Arab Board of Internal Medicine

• FCPS (Internal Medicine)

• Or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
• Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for DOH / DHA / MOH licensing.
• Licensing guidance and support will be provided where applicable.
