Overview

• Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

• Healthcare Setting: Multispecialty hospital outpatient department
• Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years post specialist or board certification
• Practice Model: Outpatient primary care with integrated diagnostic and specialist referral support.
• The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to individuals and families while focusing on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and long-term patient wellness.

• American Board of Family Medicine

• Australian Fellowship (FRACGP / FACRRM)

• Arab Board
• MD, DNB, FNB, DrNB, DM, FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
• Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for DHA / DOH / MOH license guidance and support provided.

Key Responsibilities

• – Family Medicine
• Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients across all age groups, ensuring continuity of care and long-term patient management.
• Conduct detailed clinical assessments, medical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations to diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular conditions, respiratory disorders, thyroid disease, and metabolic disorders in accordance with evidence-based clinical guidelines.
• Deliver preventive healthcare services, including routine health screenings, immunisations, lifestyle counselling, and early disease detection initiatives.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment and care plans, ensuring appropriate follow-up and monitoring of patient outcomes.
• Provide patient education and counselling on health maintenance, disease prevention, nutrition, and lifestyle modification.
• Coordinate referrals to specialist physicians and allied healthcare professionals when required and ensure effective follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive electronic medical records and clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure integrated and high-quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, ethical medical practice standards, and hospital policies.
