Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Consultant Pediatrician to provide patient-centred care to infants, children, and adolescents.
The role covers assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic pediatric conditions, with attention to clinical quality, safety, and family-centred care.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and follow up pediatric patients; manage acute and chronic illnesses and provide preventive and developmental care.
- Monitor growth and development; identify concerns; guide caregivers on treatment, prevention, nutrition, development, and ongoing health needs.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care and referrals; respond to urgent presentations and escalate care when needed.
- Maintain comprehensive clinical records and support governance, patient safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
- Collaborate with clinical teams and contribute to education, supervision, and professional development of junior medical staff where applicable.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from a recognized institution and recognized specialist qualification or board certification in Pediatrics/Paediatrics.
- Eligible for or holding an appropriate DHA professional license to practise as a Consultant Pediatrician in Dubai.
- Relevant post-specialization pediatric experience, including independent management of a broad range of cases.
- Strong clinical judgment for routine and complex presentations; excellent communication with children, parents, and caregivers.
- Commitment to patient safety, clinical quality, evidence-based medicine, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
