Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate
Consultant Pediatric Rehabilitation Physician
to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive rehabilitation care for pediatric patients with physical, developmental, neurological, and functional conditions while working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical, cognitive, and developmental assessments for pediatric patients.
- Develop individualized rehabilitation treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Oversee and coordinate rehabilitative therapies including physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as required.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation programs, home exercises, and long-term care strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation in line with DOH standards.
- Stay updated on advancements and best practices in pediatric rehabilitation medicine.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- American Board Certification in Pediatric Rehabilitation is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of consultant-level experience in pediatric rehabilitation.
- Strong clinical expertise in pediatric rehabilitation therapies and patient management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
