Role Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist to join a leading hospital in Jeddah.
The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and managing complex kidney disorders in children, with a strong commitment to multidisciplinary care and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage pediatric renal conditions, including:
- Congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract (CAKUT)
- Nephrotic and nephritic syndromes
- Acute and chronic kidney disease
- Hypertension, electrolyte imbalances, and tubular disorders
- Oversee dialysis programs (peritoneal and hemodialysis) for pediatric patients
- Collaborate with pediatric urologists, endocrinologists, and intensivists for integrated care
- Guide renal transplant evaluations and post-transplant management
- Interpret renal imaging, biopsy results, and advanced lab diagnostics
- Educate families on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and long-term care plans
- Participate in clinical audits, research, and CME activities
& Experience
- Certification: Board-certified in Pediatric Nephrology (e.g., American Board, Royal College, or equivalent)
- Licensure: SCFHS license or eligibility required
- Experience: Minimum 5 years post-specialization in a tertiary or academic hospital setting
- Proven expertise in managing complex renal cases and dialysis in children
- Strong communication and a family-centered care approach
- Commitment to continuous learning and clinical innovation
