Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon/ Spine Surgeon

About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to diagnose, treat, and manage disorders of the musculoskeletal system. The role involves performing surgical and non-surgical procedures, ensuring high standards of patient care, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat conditions related to bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles, including fractures, arthritis, and sports injuries
• Perform orthopedic surgeries such as joint replacements, fracture fixation, arthroscopy, and reconstructive procedures
• Conduct patient consultations, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including rehabilitation planning
• Interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRI, CT scans, and lab reports
• Prescribe medications, physiotherapy, and non-invasive treatments when appropriate
• Monitor patient recovery and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, nurses, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and ethical standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Master’s degree or specialization in Orthopedics (MS/DNB/FRCS or equivalent)
• Minimum 3–5+ years of experience as an orthopedic surgeon (post-specialization)
• Expertise in surgical and non-surgical orthopedic treatments
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and patient management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment

Preferred Skills

• Subspecialty expertise (e.g., sports medicine, spine surgery, joint replacement)
• Experience in minimally invasive procedures
• Knowledge of insurance and billing processes in Dubai
• Commitment to continuous medical education and research
