Overview
SearchPlus HR is currently seeking a dedicated Consultant Oncologist to join a leading Private Healthcare Facility.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge environment, providing comprehensive cancer care to a diverse patient population.
As a Consultant Oncologist, you will be integral in diagnosing, planning, and implementing individualized cancer treatment regimens.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest standards of care and support to patients throughout their treatment journey.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history, examination, and review of diagnostic tests.
- Develop and manage tailored treatment plans incorporating chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, and other therapies.
- Monitor treatment responses and manage associated side effects effectively.
- Provide expert consultation and counseling to patients and their families regarding diagnosis and treatment options.
- Collaborate with medical professionals across specialties to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Engage in clinical audits, quality assurance, and research initiatives to advance oncology services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in oncology practice and treatments.
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization and board certification in Oncology.
- Proven experience as a Consultant Oncologist within private healthcare settings.
- Strong knowledge of modern oncology treatments, protocols, and patient management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to discuss complex information sensitively with patients and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and research participation.
- Strong organizational and clinical decision-making skills.
