Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Consultant Neurologist, based in Doha, Qatar.
The Consultant Neurologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with neurological conditions, including epilepsy and movement disorders.
Daily responsibilities include performing clinical evaluations, interpreting diagnostic tests such as EEGs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
The role also requires staying updated with advancements in neurology to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Neurology and Medicine, with a strong ability to diagnose and treat neurological conditions.
- Specialized knowledge in epilepsy and movement disorders, including experience in managing related cases.
- Proficiency in conducting and interpreting EEGs as part of diagnostic and treatment procedures.
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Board certification in Neurology and a valid medical license (license eligibility in Qatar preferred).
- Experience in applying evidence-based practices and staying current with advancements in neurological medicine.
