Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of a broad range of internal medicine conditions and chronic diseases
- Develop personalized care plans for patients with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and respiratory disorders
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care involving specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Implement preventive health strategies and educate patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective management
- Maintain precise and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Stay informed about advancements and best practices in internal medicine and chronic disease management
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with specialization in Internal Medicine
- Board certification in Internal Medicine is required
- Valid medical license to practice in Abu Dhabi/UAE
- Proven experience in managing chronic diseases within a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and knowledge of chronic disease management protocols
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development
