Overview
A major premium healthcare group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a
Consultant Gastroenterologist
to join its advanced digestive disease and endoscopy services department.
The position offers access to modern endoscopy suites, strong referral networks, and high-volume procedural exposure within a leading multidisciplinary clinical setting.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage:
- Gastrointestinal disorders
- Liver and pancreatic disease
- Inflammatory bowel disease
- Functional GI disorders
- Perform:
- Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy
- Colonoscopy procedures
- GI bleeding management
- Advanced gastrointestinal interventions where applicable
- Support inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services
Requirements
- Consultant Gastroenterology qualification
- Advanced endoscopy experience highly regarded
- Western training advantageous
- DOH eligibility preferred
- Strong tertiary hospital experience preferred
