Join a multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai as a Consultant Gastroenterologist.
Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and digestive disorders while providing patient-centered care to international medical standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and gallbladder diseases.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, dietitians, and internal medicine specialists.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with DHA regulations and hospital protocols.
- Educate patients and families on treatment, prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement, and continuing medical education.
- Supervise junior medical staff when required.
Qualifications and requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by DHA.
- Board certification or fellowship in Gastroenterology.
- DHA Consultant Gastroenterologist license or eligibility letter.
- At least 5–7 years of post-specialization experience in a hospital or healthcare facility.
- Expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English.
- Arabic or Hindi is advantageous.
Preferred skills and experience
- Experience managing IBS, IBD, GERD, liver diseases, and hepatology cases is preferred.
- Multicultural experience, a patient-focused approach, and strong clinical judgment are preferred.
