We are seeking an experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our esteemed medical team.
This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients with a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders, utilizing expert clinical knowledge and advanced procedural skills.
As a Consultant Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing complex gastrointestinal cases, performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, and contributing to multidisciplinary patient care strategies.
You will also play a role in educating patients and supporting ongoing research initiatives within the department.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and manage patients with gastrointestinal diseases
- Conduct endoscopic procedures with precision and attention to patient safety
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnosis and treatment options
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with regulations
- Participate in clinical research and professional development activities
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to educational programs
Requirements
- Medical degree and completion of residency training in Gastroenterology
- Board certification in Gastroenterology
- Valid medical license to practice
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in gastroenterology
- Proficiency in endoscopic and other gastroenterological procedures
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
