Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough assessments of patients experiencing chronic pain and related functional impairments
- Develop individualized management plans integrating pharmacological treatments, interventional procedures, and rehabilitation therapies
- Lead and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families on pain mechanisms, treatment options, and self-management strategies
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches to optimize outcomes
- Maintain meticulous medical records in accordance with healthcare standards and regulations
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in Pain Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or relevant field
- Board certification or equivalent qualification in Chronic Pain Management and Rehabilitation
- Valid medical license to practice in the respective region
- Demonstrated experience managing chronic pain patients with multidisciplinary rehabilitation approaches
- Proficiency in interventional pain procedures is preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
