SearchPlus HR is partnering with a prominent government healthcare facility to recruit a skilled Consultant Cardiovascular Surgeon. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to public health by providing expert surgical care within a government-funded healthcare system.

As a Consultant Cardiovascular Surgeon in a government healthcare facility, you will be responsible for delivering high-standard cardiovascular surgical services to a diverse patient population. You will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and participate in initiatives aimed at improving public health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:* Perform complex cardiovascular surgical procedures, including bypass surgeries, valve repairs, and other interventions

• Manage patient care from pre-operative assessment through post-operative recovery
• Work in coordination with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing teams to optimize patient treatment plans
• Contribute to the training and mentoring of junior medical staff and trainees
• Participate in departmental meetings, audits, and quality improvement programs
• Ensure compliance with governmental healthcare policies and standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in cardiovascular surgery, ideally within a government or public healthcare setting
• Strong clinical, surgical, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
