An internationally accredited UAE healthcare provider is expanding operating theatre, perioperative medicine, and acute pain services.
The consultant provides comprehensive anaesthetic and perioperative care in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide anaesthetic care for elective and emergency surgery across specialties and conduct pre-anaesthetic assessments, risk stratification, and perioperative optimization.
- Provide general, regional, neuraxial, and monitored anaesthesia care; manage airway emergencies, recovery, acute pain, and perioperative complications.
- Coordinate with surgical, intensive care, nursing, and theatre teams; contribute to planning for complex cases.
- Participate in governance, morbidity and mortality reviews, audits, and quality improvement.
Qualifications and eligibility
- A recognized specialist qualification in anesthesiology or equivalent is required; examples include American Board of Anesthesiology, UK CCT/FRCA, European Diploma, Canadian Royal College Certification, FANZCA, Arab Board, and MD/DNB/FCPS.
- Candidates must be eligible for UAE medical licensing and facility credentialing.

- Effective communication with culturally diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to adapt to UAE healthcare regulations, documentation standards, and hospital governance.
