Construction Technician - Laborer

Repair various types of sewer lines by using a specific UV CIPP products and process

Ensure pull-in tube is properly prepared for installation by examining D-Rings, chains and attachment to pulling cable

Install prepared tube using a winch, backhoe, crane or other appropriate material

Monitor gauges, dials, heat sensors, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly

Cure resin product using an inflation tube, calibration can’s, UV light trains and associated equipment.

Learn/train on Insituform’s products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and equipment

Drive various vehicles (pickup trucks to tractor-trailer rigs) to haul crews and equipment

Perform set up and clean up tasks at jobsite/shop

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience as a Construction Laborer and / or Installation Technician highly preferred

OSHA certifications are a plus

Valid driver’s license required with a clean motor vehicle report

Must possess a Class A or B CDL license with required endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brakes), compliant with Insituform’s motor vehicle standards

Must be able to wear a respirator and body harness while entering confined spaces

Ability to lift / move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools

Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles

Must be able to travel weekly (potentially out of state)
