Job Description
- Support subcontracting and sourcing strategy for Waste to X Plants and Renewable Gas, including market research analysis.
- Develop a local network and panel of suppliers and contractors for Construction Lots, Site Lots and Framework Agreements.
- Promote KVI as the Partner of Choice to contractors and suppliers in the Branch region.
- Participate in development and selection for best source and contractor approval processes using internal e-database such as SUMO.
- Prepare and follow up the PEPP (Project Engineering Procurement Plan) for execution of subcontracts.
- Support preparation and issue of RFQs for installation and site procurement lots.
- Analyze received offers and review subcontract proposal evaluations.
- Perform costs and price analysis, develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiation of project installation lots including site procurement lots.
- Prepare the commercial part of subcontracts, including Minutes of Negotiations and commercial clarifications.
- Directly administer site and installation lots including cost forecasts and purchase order follow-up.
- Cooperate with the local C&C Tender Manager for market screening opportunities and subcontractors.
- Support startup and live sites in the Branch region for local procurement, contracting or emergency orders.
Qualifications
- Ideally technical education with commercial and market experience from a technical industry such as power, industry or renewable gas.
- Technical education with proven commercial experience and education.
- Project management experience.
- Knowledge of sourcing, bidding and category management.
- Knowledge of IFS, SAP or another ERP system, MS Office and eProcurement solutions.
- Understanding of supply contract law (Swiss & Anglo Saxon) and QA processes appropriate to supply markets.
- Ideally multilingual with good English; French is an advantage.
