Position overview
Support construction operations, site coordination, project progress, and daily project activities.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate construction activities from planning through completion.
- Monitor project progress, schedules, quality, and site requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, engineers, and site teams.
- Assist with construction planning, work schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Review basic drawings, specifications, method statements, and site documents.
- Monitor daily site activities and follow up on outstanding work.
- Identify construction issues, delays, and site problems and assist with solutions.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, completion, and handover activities.
- Assist with project costs, variations, materials, and resource planning.
- Prepare basic progress reports and provide updates to management.
- Support and coordinate site engineers, supervisors, and project team members.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Some experience in construction, site management, project coordination, or a related role.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods, drawings, site operations, and project schedules.
- Able to coordinate contractors, suppliers, consultants, and site teams.
- Good communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Willing to work on construction sites and support project activities.
Advantageous qualifications
- Experience with large-scale projects or professional certification is advantageous but not required.
