Recruiting for a confidential, ongoing water treatment, RO, and desalination project in Qatar; client and project details will be disclosed to shortlisted candidates.
The role is a hands-on Mechanical Construction Manager / Project Manager responsible for site execution and reporting to top management.
The project is fully mobilized, with approximately 250–300 personnel on site across engineering, supervision, QS, document control, HSE, skilled trades, and support.
Site execution and coordination
- Control day-to-day site execution and productivity, and lead the team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Coordinate with the client, consultants, stakeholders, and engineering, construction, QS, HSE, and document-control teams.
- Manage installation of RO systems, vessels, Dual Media Filters, piping, and mechanical equipment.
- Coordinate scaffolding, lifting, loading and unloading, and heavy-equipment activities.
Progress, reporting, and delivery
- Track completed quantities and ensure documentation supports timely progress billing and invoicing.
- Identify delays, bottlenecks, and site constraints and drive immediate solutions.
- Maintain professional client correspondence and report progress and productivity to senior management.
- Own project schedule, productivity, progress, and deliverables; convert site progress into measurable and billable quantities.
Candidate requirements
- Strong mechanical construction and site-execution experience is requested.
- The role requires ownership of execution for an already mobilized team of approximately 250–300 personnel.
Work location
- Site-execution leadership role on a Qatar project.
