Role Description
This is a contract, on-site Construction Manager role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
The Construction Manager oversees day-to-day site operations, including planning work sequences, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring interior construction and implementation activities align with project specifications.
Responsibilities include monitoring progress, managing schedules and budgets, enforcing construction safety standards, and maintaining accurate project documentation and reports.
The role involves conducting site inspections, resolving technical and operational issues, and liaising with clients, designers, and suppliers to keep stakeholders informed.
The Construction Manager is expected to lead the site team, uphold quality standards, and ensure timely completion of all project milestones.
Qualifications
- Ability to effectively lead on-site teams with strong Supervisory Skills and people management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Budgeting and Project Control to manage costs, schedules, and resources across multiple construction activities.
- Hands-on experience in Construction, particularly interior fit-out and implementation works, with solid technical understanding of materials and methods.
- Knowledge of Construction Safety regulations and best practices, with a track record of maintaining safe and compliant work environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders on site.
- Experience working in the United Arab Emirates or GCC region and familiarity with local building codes and standards is an advantage.
- Proficiency in construction management software and basic office applications for reporting and documentation.
