***Construction Manager***

Required: Civil Construction Manager to work in a contracting company- Abu Dhabi/UAE.

Construction Manager

is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of a construction project from initiation to completion.

This includes supervising on-site activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, maintaining schedules and budgets, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role involves close coordination with project stakeholders including clients, consultants, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver the project successfully.

1. Project Planning & Execution

·Develop and implement detailed construction plans and schedules.

·Monitor the project timeline, milestones, and critical path activities.

·Ensure that work is completed according to contract documents, drawings, and specifications.

2. Site Management

·Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site.

·Supervise site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth progress.

·Manage site logistics, including material deliveries and equipment usage.

3. Budget & Cost Control

·Prepare project budgets and monitor ongoing costs.

·Review and approve subcontractor invoices, material purchases, and labor costs.

·Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.

4. Team Leadership & Coordination

·Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, supervisors, and site personnel.

·Assign responsibilities, track team performance, and resolve conflicts.

·Foster a positive and productive work environment.

5. Quality Assurance & Control

·Ensure that construction work meets the company’s and client’s quality standards.

·Conduct inspections and coordinate with QA/QC teams.

·Handle non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure corrective actions.

6. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

·Enforce strict compliance with health and safety regulations.

·Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks.

·Ensure proper documentation and reporting of safety incidents.

7. Client & Stakeholder Communication

·Act as the main point of contact between the client, consultants, and subcontractors.

·Attend progress meetings and report on project status, risks, and solutions.

·Address client concerns promptly and professionally.

8. Risk Management & Problem Solving

·Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

·Resolve site issues, technical problems, and scheduling conflicts in a timely manner.

***Qualifications:***

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

·

07 - 18 years of experience in construction projects, with at least 3 - 5 years in a managerial role.

·
