Construction Manager

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily construction activities and site operations; coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Monitor project progress, programme, resources, and construction sequencing.
• Ensure work meets approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements; resolve technical and site coordination issues.
• Coordinate design changes, variations, and additional work with stakeholders; conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship.
• Support snagging, testing, commissioning, completion, and handover, while ensuring compliance with Abu Dhabi authority requirements and project procedures.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 15–20 years of relevant building construction experience.
• Proven experience as a Construction Manager on building projects.
• SOE and DMT registration are mandatory.
• Strong construction management, contractor coordination, project delivery, programme and quality control, and site supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, specifications, and UAE construction practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Tools

• Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
• Primavera P6 knowledge is an advantage.

Work location

• The work location is Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
• The role includes construction site operations and inspections.
