Experience
- Minimum 5–10 years of onsite experience on major projects in infrastructure, real estate, power, steel, or chemical sectors.
- Involvement in at least two significant major projects similar in size and scope to those delivered by TCE.
Education
- Graduate or postgraduate qualification in an engineering discipline required.
- Postgraduate degree or diploma in construction management preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor job-site health, safety, and environmental performance and verify contractor worker protections.
- Supervise construction and administer contracts for contractors and subcontractors in assigned areas.
- Coordinate design deliverables and serve as the job-site contractor contact for the assigned project area.
- Plan and chair safety meetings; assist with incident investigations, reporting, and safety initiatives.
- Communicate deficiencies and non-conformances to the Construction Manager.
- Assist with estimating, scheduling, reporting, cost control, measurement verification, and invoice certification.
- Lead bill certification and quantity measurement; resolve extra scope; enforce change-management and RFI processes.
- Act as administrative spokesperson when the Construction Manager is absent.
- Support proposal and business-improvement information, provide construction input to constructability plans, and contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly progress reporting.
