Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced **Consolidation Accountant** to join our finance team in Doha.
This role is responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy across reporting entities, and supporting compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and consolidate financial statements in accordance with IFRS and applicable standards
- Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances across entities
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across reporting units
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
- Analyze financial results and provide clear reporting insights to management
- Assist in audit processes and respond to external auditor requests
- Maintain and improve consolidation processes, controls, and reporting systems
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred
- Minimum 4–7 years of experience in consolidation or financial reporting roles
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and consolidation accounting principles
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
