Conservation Program Rep Water I

About the Department
Under general supervision, provides customer service for growers participating in a district water conservation program to gather and process proposals for contracts; creates information database, coordinates with engineers preparation of analyzes; coordinates with field conservation data technicians, and provides quality assurance; creates contracts based on engineers analysis and communicates with growers concerning eligible and ineligible fields. May assist in the training of newly hired staff. Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Duties
- Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture science, public administration, or related field and three years of progressively responsible work experience in water utility customer service or related experience in agricultural business such as crop farming with water irrigation. Progressively responsible directly related experience may be substituted for the required education at the ratio of two years of experience for one year of education required in water utility customer service or related experience in agricultural business.
Minimum Qualifications
- Veteran's Preference (External Applicants Only): Submit DD form 214 or other evidence of veterans' status by the job posting deadline.
