Role overview

Salary and benefits

• The stated salary range is £57,760–£86,640, with an annual bonus and benefits.

Location and working model

• The listed locations are Glasgow, Edinburgh or Newcastle.
• The role is permanent and uses a hybrid working model, typically requiring two days per week onsite.

Configuration delivery

• Define and lead the configuration management strategy, governance framework and operating model.
• Manage change intake, impact assessment, prioritisation, testing, documentation, approval and release across the configuration lifecycle.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, PMO and vendors to deliver controlled changes.
• Guide configuration readiness, risk, feasibility, sequencing and implementation across complex initiatives.

Governance and improvement

• Lead configuration governance, risk management and audit readiness, and act as escalation point for configuration decisions and exceptions.
• Analyse performance metrics, defects and trends to improve quality, reduce rework and strengthen system stability.

Minimum criteria

• Expertise in Genesys configuration management and controlled change delivery in complex technology environments.
• Strong understanding of configuration governance, risk management, audit requirements, compliance controls and change management practices.
• Experience leading configuration activities across Agile and traditional delivery environments and assessing requirements, risks and impacts.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including work with senior leaders and cross-functional technology teams.

Additional advantages

• Experience in regulated, financial services or high-availability environments is advantageous.
• Insurance industry knowledge and CDL Strata experience are advantageous; CDL Strata is not essential.
• A degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience is advantageous.
