My client provides elite business events across Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and Europe that connects the world of tech buyers with market intelligence, insightful use-cases, and innovative solutions from global experts, investors, and business partners, through an incredibly successful year they are now looking at Conference Directors to be based in Dubai & India, preferred backgrounds are B2B Conference Production but they would look at Sponsorship & Marketing backgrounds too
Currently the events occupy leading positions in their respective markets across the world’s most exciting and dynamic regions.
The person taking this role will become a key leader in the business
Financial
- To take overall responsibility for meeting and/or exceeding budget profit contribution of the series of event
- To provide a monthly report and forecast on event revenues, contribution, manpower and actions that are being taken for the event to achieve budget (and other reports or analysis as required
Brand
- Through research, analysis, relationships, and market intelligence develop strategies and initiatives to ensure the ongoing growth and sustainability of the eve
- To provide a strategically thought through event layout and floor plan, working in conjunction with the Sales Director and Operations Director
Marketing
- To work provide strategic direction and objectives for the event to the Marketing Director, and any members of the Marketing team they assign to work on the event
- Develop a campaign strategy with the Marketing Director and their team that meets and/or exceeds budget including overall visitor numbers, ticket revenues and ticket yields
Sales
- To develop a campaign strategy with the Sales Director that meets and/or exceeds budget including overall numbers of exhibitors, exhibitor mix, stand sales and sponsorship revenues
- To work with the Sales Director and Marketing Director to develop a compelling sales proposition for the event which meets the needs of current and future clients
Program Content
- To provide strategic direction and market intelligence to the program team to create a speaker program and digital content plan which is aligned with the strategic and commercial aims of the business
