Role Overview
We are looking to hire a **Confectionery & Snack Specialist Chef** with strong expertise in the preparation and development of **candies, sweets, and savory snack items**.
This role requires a hands-on professional with creativity, operational discipline, and the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality products aligned with brand and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce a range of **candies, confectionery, and snack items**
- Develop and refine **recipes and snack concepts**, including seasonal or specialty items
- Ensure **quality consistency**, correct portioning, and attractive presentation
- Maintain compliance with **food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards**
- Manage daily snack production workflow and kitchen organization
- Monitor ingredient usage, wastage, and basic inventory requirements
- Support menu innovation and new product launches as required
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a **Confectionery Chef, Snack Chef, or similar role**
- Strong technical knowledge of **candies, sweets, chocolates, and snack preparation**
- Experience working in **specialty kitchens, retail food concepts, or cafés**
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and under operational pressure
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations
Preferred Qualifications (Advantage)
- Experience in **UAE or GCC market**
- Background in **retail snack concepts, kiosks, or boutique food brands**
- Ability to contribute to **cost control and ingredient optimization**
