Role overview

Guest and resident service

• Handle interactions with hospitality and professionalism, accommodate special requests, resolve complaints, and respond to inquiries about property services and events.
• Complete requests accurately and promptly, record complaints, follow procedures, and provide appropriate follow-up.
• Contact future guests before arrival to learn preferences and arrange services, shipping, transportation, and providers.

Concierge operations

• Process incoming and outgoing packages, mail, messages, and other items; store and retrieve packages, groceries, luggage, dry cleaning, and flowers.
• Coordinate authorized access for vendors, contractors, visitors, and service providers; verify identities and manage building and elevator access.
• Maintain current information on local restaurants, activities, attractions, and vendors; provide recommendations and arrange transportation, tickets, and reservations.
• Communicate with internal personnel using radio, Hotsos, and phones; use guest messaging, recognition, request-tracking, and Opera billing systems.
• Assist with guest-services, lobby, and phone coverage when needed or during heavy volume.

Preferred qualifications and skills

• At least 2–4 years of luxury-property or hotel concierge experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English grammar and composition skills.
• Knowledge of local activities and restaurants, and willingness to explore venues to develop knowledge.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment and use a variety of computer and reservation systems.
• Professional, harmonious working relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
• Arabic speaking is an advantage.
