Concept Design Architect cum Interior Designer

Company Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the conceptual design process from ideation to final presentation for both architectural and interior design projects.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to understand project requirements and translate them into innovative and practical design solutions.
• Develop integrated architectural and interior design concepts aligned with project objectives, brand identity, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with architectural standards, building codes, and sustainable design practices.
• Mentor and manage the Concept Design team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and professional development.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards across all deliverables.
• Oversee preparation of conceptual design documentation including sketches, mood boards, layouts, 3D visualizations, and presentations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation during the design phase.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (MEP, structural, and fit-out) to ensure design integration and feasibility.
• Develop detailed interior design layouts and review shop drawings.
• Participate in site visits, design inspections, and construction reviews to ensure design intent is achieved.
• Manage subcontractors and oversee fit-out works where required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture / Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum
• 15 years of total experience
• , including at least
• 7 years in Qatar
• (GCC experience preferred).
• Proven experience in leading conceptual design teams for both architectural and interior design projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative, innovative, and diverse design concepts across multiple project types.
• UPDA Certification.
• Experience in handling projects such as commercial buildings, luxury villas and palaces, mixed-use developments, hospitality, healthcare, educational facilities, towers, and government projects.
• In-depth knowledge of design stages (CD, SD, DD, IFT, IFC).
• Strong understanding of various design styles, including Classical, Islamic, Moroccan, Modern, and Contemporary.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max (V-Ray/Corona), Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to produce high-quality 3D visualizations, animations, and 360-degree renders.
• Strong knowledge of technical drawings, materials, specifications, and coordination with MEP/structural disciplines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong client-handling abilities.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and manage teams effectively.
• Solid project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Extensive experience in site supervision, fit-out works, and subcontractor coordination.
