COMSEC Specialist w/active Top Secret clearance

LMI is seeking a skilled COMSEC Specialist to manage communications security material, equipment, and processes supporting a network of technical communications facilities.

This individual will ensure proper accounting, handling, and safeguarding of COMSEC material across multiple locations.

Primary duties include:

• Manage COMSEC account operations, including receipt, storage, issue, and destruction of COMSEC material.
• Maintain COMSEC accounting records in accordance with applicable directives.
• Support COMSEC equipment installation, keying, and maintenance across facility locations.
• Conduct COMSEC training and awareness for program personnel.
• Support COMSEC inspections and audits.

This position is based in the Washington, DC metro area, with travel to program locations.

Travel: This position requires approximately 25-50 % travel to support activities across multiple program locations.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of COMSEC management experience, including COMSEC custodian responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of COMSEC accounting and handling procedures.
• Experience supporting Special Access Program (SAP) facilities, systems, or environments.

Nice to Have:

• Formal COMSEC Custodian training/certification.
• Experience supporting COMSEC operations across multiple facility locations.
• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting large, geographically dispersed teams.

TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility is required for this position.
