Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Computer Science Teacher role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
The Computer Science Teacher will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging computer science lessons aligned with the British curriculum for appropriate grade levels.
Daily responsibilities include designing schemes of work, creating instructional materials, integrating mathematics and computational thinking, and using technology to support learning.
The teacher will assess student progress, provide feedback, maintain accurate records, and support students with varying abilities.
The role also involves participating in curriculum development, collaborating with colleagues, communicating with families as needed, and contributing to school events, meetings, and professional development.
Qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge and instructional skills in Computer Science and Computer Science Education.
- Experience with Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development aligned to a British or similar international curriculum.
- Solid understanding of Mathematics as it relates to computer science and problem-solving.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Education, or a related field; teaching qualification or license preferred.
- Demonstrated experience teaching K–12 students, ideally in an international or British curriculum school.
- Ability to create inclusive, student-centered classrooms that support diverse learning needs and backgrounds.
- Proficiency with educational technology, learning management systems, and classroom digital tools.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills, with a commitment to ongoing professional growth.
