We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Computational Physics Expert to work on a contractor basis.
This expert will apply their deep knowledge of computational physics to contribute high-quality insights to AI evaluation projects, helping to train next-generation AI systems.
By working on this project, the Computational Physics Expert will play a crucial role in shaping how models learn, reason, and perform in the technology and artificial intelligence industry, where real-world expertise is essential for improving AI model performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage deep expertise in computational physics to contribute high-quality insights to AI evaluation projects, analyzing and interpreting large-scale scientific data sets and experimental results.
- Develop, review, and refine quantitative models, simulations, or workflows in relevant physics domains, ensuring high-quality input for AI model training.
- Collaborate with other experts to identify and address complex physics-related challenges in AI model development, providing expert guidance and support.
- Apply analytical and mathematical reasoning skills to scientific data interpretation, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Communicate complex scientific concepts and results effectively through written and verbal communication, both within the team and to external stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong background in computational physics, with expertise in scientific computing, numerical simulations, and data analysis, as well as experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB.
- Experience with high-performance computing workflows and large-scale data analysis, with the ability to develop and refine quantitative models and simulations.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical reasoning skills, with the ability to interpret complex scientific data and communicate results effectively.
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and provide expert guidance and support.
- Experience with AI/ML workflows and scientific benchmarking, with a strong understanding of the role of computational physics in AI model development.
