Compliance Officer

About This Role

Reliance Insurance Brokers LLC is looking to onboard a high-caliber compliance officer to strengthen our regulatory and governance framework in line with UAE Central Bank standards.

This is a critical role for a professional who understands the importance of compliance not just as a requirement but as a business enabler within the insurance and financial services sector.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Ensuring full compliance with UAE Central Bank regulations and applicable laws
• Developing and enhancing internal compliance frameworks, policies, and controls
• Conducting compliance audits, monitoring risks, and strengthening governance practices
• Acting as the key point of contact for all regulatory communications and reporting
• Overseeing AML/KYC implementation and ensuring adherence across operations
• Reviewing agreements, processes, and internal practices from a regulatory perspective
• Managing and resolving compliance issues, breaches, and regulatory observations
• Driving compliance awareness through internal training and guidance

Who We’re Looking For

• 3–4+ years of compliance experience within insurance brokerage or financial services in the UAE
• Strong working knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks, AML, and KYC requirements
• Bachelor’s degree (with mandatory equivalency certification if obtained outside the UAE)
• Must be eligible to meet UAE Central Bank approval requirements, including clearing the regulatory interview
• Confident communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential matters independently
