Eliva Real Estate is hiring a Legal & Compliance Manager in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The role oversees regulatory compliance, legal risks, and legal matters related to the company’s real estate operations.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with UAE laws, real estate regulations, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Develop, review, and maintain company policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
- Review and manage contracts, MOUs, tenancy agreements, and other legal documents.
- Oversee AML/KYC requirements, due diligence, and regulatory reporting.
- Identify legal and compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with external legal advisors, government authorities, and relevant regulatory bodies.
- Conduct internal compliance reviews and ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping.
- Advise management on legal matters, regulatory updates, and risk mitigation.
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Proven experience in legal and compliance management; UAE real estate experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UAE laws, real estate regulations, AML/KYC, and corporate compliance.
- Excellent contract review, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Compensation
- Pay starts at AED 6,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
