Job Title: Compliance / Legal Officer (CAMS Certified)
Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring the company’s compliance with UAE laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Manage legal matters and support AML/CTF initiatives in line with CAMS standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure regulatory compliance and implement internal policies.
- Monitor AML/CTF frameworks, perform CDD/EDD, and review suspicious transactions.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts and legal documents.
- Provide compliance and legal guidance to management.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external counsel as needed.
Skills
- Analytical and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management within financial institutions, consultancies, or regulated entities.
- ACAMS certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UAE AML regulations, FATF guidelines, and ADGM/CBUAE frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and integrity.
- CAMS certification required.
- 3–5 years’ experience in compliance, legal, or AML roles.
- Strong knowledge of UAE laws and AML regulations.
