Compliance and Safety Management System Manager

Lunar Blessing Airlines LLC is amid the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Air Operators Certificate application.

LBA will be conducing in a commercial air transport operation, covering the Middle East utilizing a single PA 34-220 T aircraft.

Once the AOC has been issued LBA will embark and expand in other areas of commercial air transport using much bigger aircraft.

Nature of Work – Compliance / Safety Management System (SMS)

The Compliance / SMS Manager is the person responsible for the oversight of LBA’s Compliance Monitoring, Safety.

He or she is accountable to the Accountable Manager for developing, establishing, and managing the Compliance Monitoring, Aviation Safety.

Qualification.

They should have:

(1) practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.

(2) comprehensive knowledge of:

(i) the applicable UAE safety regulations and any associated requirements and procedures.

(ii) the AOC holder's operations specifications; and

(iii) the need for, and content of, the relevant parts of the AOC holder's operations manual.

(3) familiarity with management systems preferably in aviation.

(4) appropriate management experience, preferably in a comparable organisation; and

(5) 5 years of relevant work experience of which at least 2 years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position.
