Compliance Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Analyze compliance with banking laws, AML, BSA, OFAC, and other financial regulations.
• Support internal audits and develop and test controls aligned with COSO and SOX.
• Review transactions for fraud indicators and suspicious activity reporting.
• Prepare timely, accurate regulatory reports in line with GAAP, TILA, and other requirements.
• Use financial software and data analysis to identify risks and compliance gaps.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement AML, industry-specific, and consumer protection procedures.
• Maintain documentation of compliance activities, audit findings, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Proven regulatory compliance management experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of SOX, COSO, GAAP, TILA, GAAS, and relevant securities law.
• Knowledge of AML, BSA, OFAC regulations, and anti-fraud measures.
• Data analysis skills and proficiency in financial software platforms and compliance tools.
• Familiarity with banking risk management and financial institution investigations.
• Ability to interpret consumer protection, fair housing, ACH, and other applicable requirements.
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration skills.

Compensation

• Pay is $16.00–$20.00 per hour.
• Expected hours are no more than 40 per week.
