Role overview
Part-time, remote Compliance Analyst role supporting regulatory and financial compliance across OpenSource Con India’s activities.
Responsibilities
- Review organizational policies and procedures and monitor adherence to applicable regulations and internal standards.
- Assist with compliance documentation and reporting.
- Conduct basic audits of financial records and event-related transactions.
- Identify potential compliance risks and recommend remediation actions with the leadership team.
- Prepare compliance summaries, maintain accurate records, and communicate findings and guidance to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Requires regulatory compliance skills and understanding of policy, governance, and risk management.
- Requires analytical skills, effective communication, foundational finance knowledge, and auditing skills.
- A degree or coursework in law, finance, business, or a related field is beneficial.
- Experience with compliance frameworks, nonprofit or community organizations, or conference and event operations is an advantage.
- Candidates should be able to work independently remotely, manage part-time hours, and use digital collaboration tools confidently.
