Role overview

Teaching and content delivery

• Teach quantitative aptitude, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data interpretation.
• Teach logical reasoning, including analytical, verbal, and non-verbal reasoning, puzzles, and series.
• Teach verbal ability, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and sentence correction.
• Use innovative methods, shortcuts, and problem-solving strategies for timed exams.
• Use digital tools and platforms for blended learning; clarify doubts and guide learners at varying skill levels.

Curriculum and assessment

• Design and update course content, lesson plans, practice sheets, and mock tests based on current exam patterns.
• Relevant exams include CAT, GATE, GRE, Banking, SSC, AMCAT, CoCubes, and campus-specific aptitude tests.
• Conduct formative and summative assessments, analyze results, and provide constructive feedback.
• Track progress and arrange remedial coaching or advanced sessions as needed.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of the Professional and Aptitude Skills curriculum.

Mentorship and administration

• Mentor students in confidence, time management, and problem-solving.
• Coordinate company-specific grooming and mock interview preparation with the Career Advancements team.
• Maintain attendance, performance, and student feedback records.
• Participate in departmental meetings, faculty development programs, and university events.
• Monitor exam trends and industry requirements to keep training relevant.

Qualifications

• A master's degree in M.E./M.Tech, M.Sc. in Mathematics or Statistics, MBA, or equivalent from a recognized institution is required.
• At least 3–6 years of experience training students in competitive aptitude for placement, government, or higher-education entrance exams is required.
• Expertise in quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal ability is required.
• Communication, presentation, classroom management, and ability to engage diverse students are required.
• SET or NET is preferable.
• A strong major competitive-exam score; e-learning development or online/hybrid teaching experience; and knowledge of employability skills or assessment platforms are preferred.

Compensation

• Compensation depends on experience and qualifications, up to ₹80,000 per month.
